🌿 The role of a multi-skilled gardener-landscaper at Vert Val

At Vert Val, the multi-skilled worker in garden landscaping is not just a simple executor: they are a landscape artisan. In your daily work, you will combine several aspects of the profession:

• Planting and caring for plants: planting trees, shrubs, perennials, hedges, grass — while respecting good horticultural practices.
• Landscape masonry: laying borders, slabs, paving, small walls, outdoor stairs in stone or concrete.
• Creating terraces: terraces in natural stone, paving, wood, or composite, from levelling to final installation.
• Light earthworks: land levelling, foundation preparation, shaping of slopes.
• Landscape design: installation of corten steel edging, installation of low voltage outdoor lighting, setting up of mulching.

• Finishing maintenance: pruning, end-of-site weeding, checking the re-establishment of plantings.

We know it is rare — even impossible — to masterallthe skills of gardening from A to Z. This is not a problem.We are primarily looking for people who can work with their hands, who have a real knowledge of the trade, and who want to continue learning.

What interests us about you:

• Aconcrete experiencein the field of green spaces, gardening or landscaping (training, apprenticeship or field experience — all paths are valid).
• Practicalskillsin one or more of these disciplines: planting, landscape masonry, terraces, paving, light earthworks, maintenance.
• Abasic knowledge of plants: knowing how to recognise common species, understanding the needs of a planting, anticipating the seasons.
• Attention todetail and carein the finished work — at Vert Val, detail matters.
• Asense of teamwork: we work in teams, on sites where coordination is as important as technique.
• A driving licence B is a plus, but remainsoptional.. If you don't have it, it's not a barrier to applying.
